The 'ol epic battle between designers and developers has kicked up some dust again in the Drupal world, just in time for DrupalCon Paris. I wish I could be there, not just because it's Paris, but because this time around I think I have an idea that's worth some attention from the community as a whole.

Cary Visual Art

Cary Visual Art is a non-profit organization that facilitates patronization of artwork by corporations and the community in Cary, NC.

CVA needed a newly designed website that would not only be easy to update but would also facilitate communication with the community, collaboration amongst the board of directors and streamline the process of accepting and judging artists' entries for their annual sculpture exhibition.

Vibrance Dentistry

Vibrance Dentistry is a dental practice in Denver, Colorado that focuses on a holistic, whole-body health approach to dentistry.

Vibrance needed a website to help promote their business in Colorado. The design needed to reflect the spa-like atmosphere, introduce potential clients to the staff and holistic approach, and provide users with helpful resources about dentistry as an approach to whole-body health.

Raleigh Buys Direct

RaleighBuysDirect.com is a small local business specializing in wholesale and discount retail products.

I built this website using Drupal and the Ubercart ecommerce family of modules. The site features easy to manage products with multiple attributes, inventory tracking, shipping quote calculation and payment processing through paypal.

House-Autry Mills

House-Autry Mills is a company that specializes in retail and food-service industry corn meals, biscuit mixes, breaders and other food products familiar to cooks across the Southern US.

House-Autry Mills was in the process of overall rebranding of their packaging by HendrsonBromstead Art of Winston-Salem, NC and needed a new website that would not only communicate the new look of their packaging, but would also be built upon a flexible platform that could accommodate growth in functionality, particularly community-oriented functionality and user-created content.

Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple

A friend of mine, Daniel Solis is a really great graphic designer. In his spare time, he designs some serious role-playing games. His biggest venture to date is Do: Pilgrims of the Flying Temple.

In the process of developing Do, Daniel found that his blog, twitter and flickr feeds all needed one home to live in. In addition, he needed a way to facilitate the community that was growing around his game and tap into that resource to help with play testing and reviewing the mechanics of the game before it's release.

University Towers

University Towers is an alternate student housing apartment complex in Raleigh, NC.

University Towers needed a newly redesigned website that included a content management system. The design of the site needed to reflect the school colors of NC State University, prominently present photographs of the property and display information for both current and prospective residents.
